I almost don't watch television. When I watch it I'm eating with my family or even alone, but it's always meanwhile I'm eating. The rest of the time I really don't watch television.
I think that it’s because I spend a lot of
time in the computer, on tumblr or facebook, or simply playing videogames.
Some time ago I used to watch a lot of TV but it was because I didn’t have a
computer for me. But then I worked and bougth a notebook, then I lost the habit of watching television instantly.
How do I feel about television?
I think that
television is very complicated to be analyzed. On the one hand, it's a very effective
way to learn and a very accessible way to have fun. But from another point of
view, television is a means to reproduce the system. Television shows us that things
work, that the entire system is functional, and there is no way to really
question the system unless that you're an outsider.
Am I for or
against tv?
I think
that it is a very complicated question. Like a I said before, I almost don’t watch
television, but that doesn’t mean that it I’m against television. When you’re
poor, television is a very inexpensive way of have fun for the entire family. Besides, television is not bat by itself, but the shows that people put on our screen. We can make better tv shows. We can make watching television something that is worth if we put shows with a different concept.
So, I'm for tv, but with a different point of view.
